Just in time for Christmas, I’ve got a neat online product to share about…. iCaughtSanta.com!
For those families that have Santa in their holiday celebrations, there is always the child who wants to catch Santa in the act. I know that I wanted to see him (and did stay up late one Christmas Eve and told Mom I saw someone in a red suit for a split second.)
The older boys have talked about their plans to nab the jolly old elf in the act, but I’ve never let them set up elaborate traps.
Now, parents can visit the site, upload a picture from their house, and ‘catch’ Santa in the act.
It’s really easy to do….
Here’s a photo I took in Mr. O and I’s bedroom (the only room with a tree at the moment.)
Once I was on the site, I selected this one to upload and then could pick from 19 different Santa poses to insert. It was a tough choice to make. But since Santa WAS in our bedroom, I figured he should look surprised.
After all, if Mr. O found him in the bedroom there might be firearms involved.
Once you get your photo all set up and order it, you’ll be given a download link for the picture. From that page, you can even opt to order prints via Walgreens or MyAlbum Pics. Talk about convenient! Just note that if you add a border to your picture you’ll need a 5X7 photo instead of the 4X6 format I could pick with my borderless photo.
Now while this site is probably being flooded with requests for Santa photos, there are a few other fantastical creatures you could ‘catch’ in your pictures: Easter Bunny, Tooth Fairy, and Cupid. There’s also a video option you can purchase (and preview it with your background for free.) The videos can be viewed indefinitely online, but at the moment there is no way to download them. Plus, you can share your photo via several different social media outlets.
Buy Your Own Photo!
Visit iCaughtSanta.com and start the process.
A single photo is only $9.99, or you can upgrade to a bundle (4 photos) for just $10.00 more – and you can redeem the photos on any CatchACharacter™ site. Gift Cards and eGift Certificates are $9.99 for the first and $4.99 for each additional gift.
