Welcome to the second Middle and High School Link Up! We are happy to have you joining us as a reader or writer. We are so excited to start this linkup for our children to have a creative writing outlet and for us moms to have a place to share middle school and high school homeschool articles we write. You can link up at any of the following co-host’s sites:
DaLynn at Holy Splendor
Jennifer at Royal Little Lambs
Laura at Day by Day in Our World
Trish at Live and Learn Farm
Vicki at 7 Sisters Homeschool
Wendy at Homeschooling Blessings
Last week we had the theme of your 2014 bucket list. I ended up not having the boys write theirs, but instead shared 2014 Bucket List for a Catholic Homeschooling Mom. Six students shared there lists that week as well as submissions from a few homeschooling moms. If you haven’t checked them out, definitely pop over to the Inaugural Edition of the Middle and High School Link Up! and check it out. The one link that looks blank (all black) actually takes you to a You Tube video as a young lady decided to read her writing aloud. Awesome!
Each week we will try to have a theme, announced in advance. This week’s theme is listed below . My boys will be working on this assignment over the next few day and I’m curious to see what they write.
Join This Week’s Link-up!
Guidelines for the Linkup:
- The link-up will be open Monday through Friday.
- Please link directly to the url of your post (permalink).
- Please check back and visit the students who have linked up with us. I’m sure they’d also enjoy some comment love on their hard work.
- If you don’t mind, please place the button and code in your blog post so others can find out about the linkup also!
This Week’s Writing Prompt for the Homeschooled Tween or Teen is:
“What would you do if you were locked inside a Walmart overnight?”
For those who like to plan, the topic for next week’s link up will be: “What if I could see through walls?” Our topics this month have been provided by Growing Book by Book. She has created some fabulous Table Topics for conversations or, as we are using them, for writing prompts. Each month, she has an overall theme…. January’s theme is “What if”. Thank you Jodie for supporting our creative writing bloggers!
