Well, I’ve been shirking on my checking in. Part of the reason is I haven’t been nearly as good about my exercise as I should be.
But, I was pleasantly surprised when I stepped on the Wii Fit yesterday and it said (according to IT’S records) I had lost 4 pounds since late December. And, the bathroom scale had me down a pound since the last time I checked in on the blog. Considering that’s with heavy fleece jammies on, I’ll take it! (I’ll note that when I weighed myself once with and then without said jammies the difference was almost 2 pounds.)
Plans for the upcoming week include continuing to curb late night snacking (which I’ve done with mostly just an apple or a little popcorn) and fit in that exercise. I am also trying to do a better job of mixing up our dinners so that the ‘rut’ of pizza, pasta, and good old meat plus potato does not continue.
I am trying to really implement the 14 day plan from Denise Austin’s Get Energy! book I reviewed. (There’s a copy to giveaway, too!) And, there is another title I am in the midst of reading that has me wondering if the author came into my own head when it comes to dieting attempts.
