I have been, or can be if you click on a link and make a purchase, compensated via a cash payment, gift, or something else of value for writing this post. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
Last week I decided to reacquaint myself with Wii Active. The poor game and it’s paraphernalia were feeling quite lonely sitting on the shelf since coming to Alaska from our Louisiana trip. This particular product demands a lot more from my body than the Wii Fit does. And, I am nervous about the babe getting underfoot.
I will admit to being sore the days after my workout days. The kind of soreness that reminds you of muscles sitting neglected in regular life. And, the kind of soreness you know will become a distant memory in another day. Hey, the ‘trainer’ on the Wii Active says your body will thank you and it does!
So, all was going well until I hit a slump day this week and didn’t get back to it. Instead, I’ve been having less activity and more eating the past few days. I know it’s hormonal and I’ll be back to it by Monday. But, I hate sharing my failures if I can avoid them.
I have done plenty of chasing after J and dancing about with him. Dancing like the Wiggles has to count for something, right?
Goals for the upcoming week….
get back on track!
get plenty of sleep
drink plenty of water
eat good for me foods with minimal ‘junk’
schedule time to get exercise because it makes me feel better in the long run!
