Usually when I have a post that is supposed to post ON a specific day, I’ll pre-write it and set to publish. Guess I forgot to do that with this week’s Fit Mommy check-in.
Most mornings, we are home and I have time during breakfast to be on the computer. But, Friday’s are different at the moment as we have co-op on base to attend. With winter weather here and the likelihood of the roads being slick high, that means heading out the door well in advance of the start time.
So, I didn’t get my Fit Mommy update posted ON Friday. Bad fit mommy!
As for my check-in…nutrition and exercise goals were NOT met. Little J had his one year check up on Tuesday with FOUR vaccinations given. The next day was a high fever time with almost no sleep for me. And, I know how my body is about retaining when I don’t get enough sleep. So, the scale showed a pound UP from last Friday. I’m optimistic that a good week will set that number straight again.
I did fit in some Wii Fit time this week as well as dancing with the babe. But, I fear it barely made a dent against the dinner out I had last night. Those event planners like to butter and oil up everything, but at least with it being buffet style I could load up on a good salad with almost no dressing on it. I held the butter off my whole wheat roll and didn’t eat my entire slice of tiramisu. I just wish the vegetable medley they served wasn’t covered in fat.
I just need to get back to more water, more fruits and veggies and more sleep!
