Enjoy Life to the Fullest With Light Bladder Leakage has been brought to you thanks to Poise via Acorn Influence Network. All stories are my own.
I shared a few months ago about my struggle with periodic light bladder leakage(LBL). I consider it part of what it means to get a little older. Well, that and the changes your body experiences having born several children. Sometimes I say that it stinks, but as it isn’t going away.
The more time which passes, the more I notice patterns. Specifically, patterns of when LBL may hit.
What I have found is the when I am more active (e.g. exercise and hiking) is when it is more likely to occur.
While I would love to just skip the exercise, I know that I need the activity. So, I have re-embraced a regular program.
The current routines I am doing have plenty of lunges and squats along with some jogging and kickboxing. All of those are prime time for those drops to happen.
Wearing a Poise Liner every time I am ready to exercise is the way I make sure there is no issue. Unlike a regular pantyliner, I know it can handle the small leaks and keep smells away.
The other time when I am more sensitive about LBL happening is when I am traveling. Specifically, those long car rides or long plane flights.
Life in Alaska means traveling to anywhere involves those more ‘trapped’ moments. It is far easier for me to pack a handful of Poise liners to have on hand to replace the one I’m wearing. So, I keep some in my leopard print small insert bag that also holds my medication. It can fit into my purse or be put into my backpack when going on the plane.
I love that I can grab a box at our local Walmart while shopping for other things. No need to make a quick run to the pharmacy or try to hide the purchase from nosy shoppers.
Now I can continue to embrace new adventures and see the world. Hmmm….where should I travel next??? (Shh…I have a trip planned already and will share about it later this fall!)
There is a Facebook Live event on August 30th at 7pm CST on Amy Bellgardt’s Facebook Page. Come on over to learn more about how Poise Liners can help you!
