Quick & Easy English Muffin Pizzas is a sponsored blog post. While the views expressed here were genuinely mine, consideration was paid to me by Bays English Muffins to review this product.
When you think of English muffins, what comes to mind?
Do you have memories of well-toasted ones with butter and jam on top?
Or maybe you got a little more creative and used them as a base?
In our house, we do a mixture of both. My husband adores them toasted to serve as a vessel for butter. He and the boys also use them to make their own egg sandwiches for a meal.
What my youngest son had not experienced until this month was using them to make pizzas.
Now that I’ve taught him how I can see it will be a favorite lunch or snack for him.
Introducing Bays English Muffins to My Family
When I was younger, I remember having Bays English Muffins. Somehow, while moving around the country, I lost sight of this iconic brand. Seeing them in the dairy case (near the eggs and milk) at a local store seemed like the perfect timing to introduce them to the family.
Eighty years of baking the same recipe that has delighted individuals around the country. That is one thing that makes Bays English Muffins special.
Bays English Muffins come pre-split so you don’t even need a fork to guide them apart. This makes it easy for everyone to get in on the prep action.
Now chefs are showing the versatility of the English muffin beyond a morning item with your favorite jam. There are creative recipes for appetizers (Bacon, Beer & Cheddar English Muffin Wedges), mini pizzas, sandwiches, melts, paninis, burgers, and sides (like garlic bread.)

The sky is truly the limit when using a Bays English Muffin as the base for a pizza. My youngest son enjoys the classic pepperoni and cheese while my teens gravitated towards the BBQ Chicken ones. Best of all, these are an easy and quick item to make.
To get the boys involved, I did a little mise en place (prepped all the ingredients) for them. Pasta sauce can be used for a traditional red sauce base. And, the BBQ Chicken pizzas incorporate a blend of smoked gouda and mozzarella cheeses.
Once the pizzas are prepped, they are ready for the oven. Using the toaster oven is something my youngest can do and it allows for a small batch to be cooked quickly.
Here are my youngest son and I making some an afternoon this fall.
Now that I’ve introduced a new way to enjoy Bays English Muffins, I anticipate testing out other avenues with my boys. Like making a dessert spread with cream cheese and other sweet items. Or using them instead of bread to make ‘french toast’ for brunch.
Truly the sky is the limit when it comes to creative ways to enjoy English Muffins any time of day!
For now, though, my youngest is all about those Pepperoni English Muffin pizzas…
And I am now following Bays English Muffins on Facebook for a steady stream of inspiration.
What is one way that you enjoy eating Bays English Muffins aside from toasted with butter and/or jam?
