One of the newest titles in the Chicken Soup for the Soul series is proving to be a great go to book to lift my spirit. The 101 stories inside seek to inspire the reader to find their purpose, passion and joy.
Although the days are getting longer here, this is still prime season in Alaska for stinky attitudes and low spirits. So, I am quite grateful for anything that helps me to readjust attitudes as needed.
This title definitely provides that opportunity and more.
Given my need for some attitude adjustments, it came as no surprise that the section I gravitated towards is titled Attitude Adjustments. Many of the stories here are short (as are most in this volume), but pack a real punch. From hearing a homeless person wish for a grumbling man’s life to someone talking about hitting the reset button, there is plenty here to remind everyone of why they should be grateful and adjust those ‘stinking’ thoughts.
I also loved the quotes below each story’s title. Lots of powerful messages are just in the quotes, such as Winston Churchill’s comment, “Attitude is a little thing that makes a big difference.”
Deborah Norville provided the forward for this title and shared about it in the video segment below.
Chicken Soup for the Soul: Find Your Happiness retails for $14.95 US/ $16.95 CAN and can be found through major retailers.
