I have been, or can be if you click on a link and make a purchase, compensated via a cash payment, gift, or something else of value for writing this post. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
Today I am grateful for big boys that can either come help me shop or stay home and let me get through stores a bit faster.
Not that I don’t enjoy going ‘out’ with the boys, but there is something wonderful about not having kids begging for things or making the 15 minute trip take an hour. Although, the boys think I sometimes make my shopping trips take longer than they should.
This is especially a blessing on days like today (Black Friday) when I’m trying to shop for Christmas while staying on a budget and not have curious eyes looking at everything placed into a cart as a potential item for them.
As an add on, I am grateful that the less dense population here in Alaska means an easier Black Friday shopping experience. Plus, not wanting a bunch of ‘hot ticket’ items helps me find most of what I want easily.
What are YOU grateful for today?
If you blog and are interested, Brenda at Garden of Learning is hosting this challenge for the month of November. No need to participate daily, either. My goal is to post pretty much daily like last year. Yet, I know that sometimes life intervenes.
