Today I am thankful for our holiday of Thanksgiving.
Spending time with friends and family while remembering all the blessings we have been given is awesome. This year we are going to a big Thanksgiving Day celebration hosted by one of Stephen’s co-workers. Everyone is bringing dishes to share and even Stephen’s boss and his family are coming. It won’t be the same as the big family celebrations back in Ohio, but I am glad to have occasion to share the day with others.
As I type, bread dough is rising in the oven (as the house is too cold to rise in a timely fashion.) The Macy’s Day Parade is on the TV. Snow is gently falling outside, leaving a cover upon the ground where the past few days of warmer temps and rain began to create ice rinks all around. Hopefully, the snow will make driving a little easier compared to the ice.
So, I’ll end this note with a wish for a wonderful Thanksgiving Day to all my US readers. Bread rolls need making as does the green bean casserole that was requested.
