Many people I know head to Walmart for certain things. Often times, it is the latest movie release or school supplies. But, when it comes to technology, do you consider visiting your local Walmart?

A recent visit to our local Walmart showed me that they really have a nice selection of options. I’ll admit that I often think of brands I don’t know as filling the shelves. Instead, I found that when it comes to TVs, tablets and even phones, you can find the trusted brand of Samsung.
With tax refunds coming, this is a great time to evaluate what technology you need to upgrade in your life.
For some of us, it is a new TV that everyone can see. Others might need a new cell phone. Or, maybe you want to add a tablet to your home so the kids can play educational games and do basic research online.
Whatever your need, Walmart has you covered with Samsung products for each of those areas.

We have a Samsung TV in our house that we love. The color is vivid and the picture just looks great in our long open living space. The 4K resolution has everything looking 4 times as sharp than full HD.
Coupled with a Blu-ray player from Samsung, we have been able to enjoy many movie nights during the long Alaskan winter.
I saw several options at our local Walmart, all on the wall so you can see things at or above eye level.
Tablets have so many uses in everyday life. We use these portable devices to go ‘on the road’ with our homeschooling at times. They are a lot lighter compared to a laptop, yet offer the ability to do much of what the boys need. Whether it is an educational app or streaming lessons, the Samsung Galaxy Tab E is ready to perform.
Verizon J1, ATT Express Prime and Straight Talk Galaxy S7 are the mobile devices available. Each phone has its own features to love, so I usually look at which provider I want to be connected through.
With Straight Talk, you buy the phone and get service with no contract needed. For my teens, I’d be eyeing up the Straight Talk GS5. The phone is a little older than the S7, which means I don’t fret as much if they accidentally damage their phone.
If you are planning to upgrade any of these forms of technology, remember that you can save money on Samsung products when you shop at Walmart!
