November is moving along quickly. Honestly, the older I get it seems like time flies by!
This is the time when I start planning how our family will be celebrating the season of Advent.
There are so many great options. However, one thing we typically have is an Advent Calendar.

Advent Calendars to Help Countdown The Days to Christmas
The younger the child, the harder it can be to count down the days until Christmas Day. An Advent calendar can help with that. It gives them something tangible to make the impatient time more manageable.
There are so many great options out there, including making your own.
However, I found a few that you can order which the kids will love.
Toy-Based & Countdown Only Advent Calendars
These provide a new ‘toy’ for each day. Got a kid who loves cars, then the Hot Wheels one might be perfect. My crew has a serious love of PLAYMOBIL and I know those would be used a lot.

Building Block Style Advent Calendars
These are the ones my boys LOVE, especially the Star Wars ones. When I ordered the first one several years ago, I thought it could be used on a yearly basis. I severely underestimated the boys. Instead of being thrilled to open and play with the pieces during Advent, they quickly worked into the regular collection of LEGOs.
