The Godly Home

Featured ColumnistMrs. Sarah Coller from Hope in Every Season shares Hold Your Peace. I couldn’t agree more that we need to hold onto our peace and trust in the Lord. I love how she carries it over the sibling relationships.  We definitely experience that tension when an older sibling is upset over a younger sibling’s behavior.

Health and Fitness Check-in

38419lfuw8pyrnhFeatured ColumnistAnnie Kate presents Fit Mommy Friday: A New Plan to Overcome ‘The Cold’  posted at Tea Time with Annie KateI love how she is taking an external influence and changing her behavior to try and overcome it.

Featured ColumnistKarri from My Life’s a Treasure showcases Fantastic Finds. I wish my ‘plastics’ cupboard looked as neat as hers! Sadly, this will be the last post for a while as Karri’s responsibilities in youth ministry have been stepped up and she’s taking a break from blogging.  Thank you Karri for all the posts you’ve shared through the Christian Home Magazine this past year and may God bless your work ministering to the youth.

Gentle Humor

Featured Columnist Alana shares  Becoming Ms. 31 over at Lightly Salted. I really enjoyed reading her sometimes humorous look at becoming a Proverbs 31 wife.

Featured ColumnistHeather from Marine Corps Nomads will be back soon.
Laura O from Day Day in Our World  shared her recent cooking adventures making Ham and Kale Casserole for her family.  The boys and hubby still aren’t as wild about kale as she is, but they gobbled up this dish.

Design and Decorate

Featured Columnist Deanna from Home Haven Ministry is back with Decorating On The Prairie: My 35 Cent Wonder. I am constantly in awe at the wonderful ‘bargains’ she finds and this one is no exception.

Movies and Music

Featured Columnist Laura O from Day Day in Our World shares her family’s thoughts on The Lorax.  I’ll just say that we were pleasantly surprised at how much we enjoyed the film.

Modest fashion

Featured Columnist Caroline from The Modest Mom blog is back with Modest Monday & a Link-up!  You’ll have to visit her post to check out the new boots that I think are absolutely adorable.

I am looking for a featured columnists and/or submissions for the Finance, Gardening & Flowers, Home Business, Parenting and Young Adult Columns.  The young adult columnist needs to be an established teen or young adult blogger.
Thank you so much for reading! To submit your work for consideration, or to find out more about The Christian Home magazine, just visit the about page.

While we have featured columnists for many of the columns, any Christian author can submit for inclusion in the magazine in all of the different columns.

The following two tabs change content below.
A Catholic mom to four boys, Laura has been homeschooling since 2005. Currently, one son is in school while the others are at home. When not 'working', she is enjoying life up in Alaska.
