Here in Alaska, we are in our short days cycle with the sun rising after most people have arrived at work and setting before they leave. In just a few weeks, we’ll have daylight from around 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Those short days mean a much greater reliance upon lights, even during the day as our house does not get any direct sun for several months each year.

I would use it to read in bed at night! My hubby complains about trying to sleep with the light on and I wind up having to leave the comfy, cozy bed to go elsewhere. This would keep me where I’d like to be!
I have the same issue, Natalie. I’d much rather get toasty warm in bed and then just turn this off and go to bed than my typical cold walk from the living room to a cold side of the bed.

I was thinking of gifting my mom with it, but now I’m not so sure! I have a clip on light for my ereader, but this is so much brighter and easier to direct the light.
