Farm Rich Makes for Yummy Snacking, ends 8/30

Four boys in the house means we go through a fair bit of food, especially when they hit a growth spurt.  If they had their way, the kitchen would always be open.  This was reflected in one of R’s comments about summer camp this year.  He loved that so long as the building was open you could make a peanut butter and jelly sandwich between meals.

They absolutely loved seeing Farm Rich Breaded Mozzarella Sticks come into the house on a recent shopping trip and could hardly wait for me to pop them into the toaster oven for an afternoon snack. 

I appreciate the family sized bag that Farm Rich has as I can get more than one snack ‘session’ out of each bag.  Although, I’m sure the boys would eat more than the 2 sticks that are the suggested serving size.

The boys were glad that they could see the sticks cooking in the toaster over compared to when I make things in the regular oven.  Somehow seeing them cook brought comfort.

This mama got distracted and let them sit in the oven a few minutes longer than suggested, which led to some cheese ‘explosions’.

Some marinara sauce warmed in a small bowl provided a great dip for these cheese sticks.

J had not eaten these before and was a little leery at first. 

But, he quickly joined his brothers in proclaiming this a wonderful afternoon snack.
