Wholly Guacamole and Wholly Salsa Fun, ends 7/31

Not too long ago, a rather plain brown box arrived on my doorstep.  Once I opened up the box, though, I quickly recognized who had sent it.  Then, I was trying to not smile TOO big for the boys to think me insane.

That’s right… Wholly Guacamole can bring a smile to my face and light up my taste buds!

Here’s what appeared on our doorstep compliments of the company.

I must confess that I froze off most of the guacamole.  There’s only so much space in my refrigerator and I didn’t want any of the goodness going to waste.  I love it as a topping on a burger and am thinking it might be fun to try it with a baked potato instead of butter or sour cream.

I am acquainting myself with the different salsas that were sent.  It makes a yummy alternative to salad dressing, especially the varieties with a bit of fruit.  I’ve also enjoyed it in an omelet or as a topping to a sandwich.  And, I’m digging around different cookbooks looking for inspiration for other ways to enjoy salsa.
