My friend, Debbie, over at Debbie’s Digest has revamped a meme she had running and I’m joining in this week. Okay, I know it is Saturday and not Thursday. But, I figure better late than never!
She’s doing a theme for each week and this week is water. Make sure you visit her post (if you haven’t already) to see some beautiful ones she’s sharing.
I went digging through my digital photos to share a few. I decided to share photos of the area surrounding our wonderful neighborhood back in Maryland. The neighborhood is nestled between state park land, so it feels quite isolated for an area that tends to be more congested. And, we had tons of wildlife visiting, including small groups of deer that would just hang out and rest in the yards.
This time of year has us getting all nostalgic and longing for those summer days when we could walk to the small community beach and enjoy the river. Or, visit the lighthouse on the state park bordering the neighborhood. The boys also enjoyed walking and climbing along the cliffs that were found near by.
