We stayed home more often than not this week and managed to be more productive most of the days this week. Monday was NOT a good day, though, and I was so tightly wound up with stress that I started feeling sick. Load of prayer from friends and prayer time for me has helped.
The T3 and T4 screens finally came back. Both are in the normal range, but hanging out near the bottom. So, I’m hoping good nutrition and taking the D3 supplements will help keep me from leaving that normal range.
The doctor wants to get the levels checked again in 6 months. I’m still amazed that our insurance considers it completely against our deductible, but at least a subsequent draw wouldn’t be completely out of pocket.
In the spirit of getting a better handle on my health, I joined several other bloggers in a 21 Day weight loss challenge for mommy bloggers. I know that my rear wants to spread a bit from the more sedentary days I’ve had the past few months.
Wednesday was the kick off and I still haven’t written my first week post. I did the first day of exercise that day and was too sore to sit and type that night.
When J was at the dentist a few weeks ago, she commented that his 2 year molars would be coming in soon. Well, the first of them is poking up. I’m starting to wonder if part of his sleep troubles are related to his mouth.
The weather is changing around here again with another warm up compliments of the Chinook winds.
We’ve had some of the massive snow build up on our roof starting to slide off as it melts. I’m just curious if we’ll end up having another big dump of snow when the weather pattern changes again.
I was so thankful for having grades in HST+ when the coach for Academic Decathalon called about P’s grades for Fall 2009. We were still in Maryland at that point and he has to use that semester to calculate GPA for putting together the teams. Now we are just waiting to hear which team he’ll be on as he seemed to do okay on the qualifying tests.
I’ve been playing catch up on posts again. I still have a handful of reviews with giveaways that need to be written and posted, though. As new review items arrive, I’ve added them to the list of upcoming reviews. Many are books to read and as usual when I finally get it all on paper I start to wonder what possessed me to agree to so many reviews. I guess being a serious lover of books doesn’t help with that problem.
