Today I am grateful for a warm house with indoor plumbing!
The temperatures have taken a nose dive here in the Anchorage area of Alaska. We’re talking temps below 0 (Fahrenheit) at nights and that’s without the wind chill being considered. Even with the heat inside (set for the low 60s), I feel like I need to wear gloves. I can’t imagine what it was like for the pioneers here with their outhouses.
I really wish that we didn’t have to go anywhere the next few days and could just stay toasty warm inside. Or, maybe someone should have an enclosed gas station so we can fill up our gas tanks without feeling like frostbite has taken hold. Yep, that’s what I’m dreading most about heading out the door…having to fill up the gas tank again!
What are YOU grateful for today?
If you blog and are interested, Brenda at Garden of Learning is hosting this challenge for the month of November. No need to participate daily, either. My goal is to post pretty much daily like last year. Yet, I know that sometimes life intervenes.
