First off, I wanted to share about a brand new ‘magazine’ on the web. Mrs. White over at The Legacy at Home is hosting The Christian Home with different categories where you can submit original blog posts each week. She plans to post the magazine each Monday morning with submissions due by 5 p.m. EST each Sunday. You can read the first issue of The Christian Home now, including my submission from the archives.
Secondly, I wanted to share that Eternal Encouragement (formerly TEACH magazine) has uploaded a bunch of the product reviews from the past issues of TEACH. A few of them were penned by yours truly! Here are direct links to the reviews I wrote which are up on the site: Manners for Mealtime, Dinosaurs on the Move, Raising Real Men, and Do You Know How God Loves You? Successful Daily Living.
Third item to share… In the Hands of a Child is going to be wrapping up their big 400th Project Pack celebration. With the coupon code they shared in their newsletter and on the Yahoo Groups they sponsor, you can get $4 off each project pack they sell. Head on over by Friday the 12th to grab some great studies at a great price. (Oh, and those with a super membership get 15% off before the $4 comes off. So there are a few you can get at more than 50% off.)
Fourth… The Old Schoolhouse has a few things going on I wanted to share.
They have started selling tickets to their Spring Expo. It’s a great way to ‘recharge your batteries’ with great speakers you can listen to from the comfort of your home. Plus, the freebies with a ticket purchase are fantastic. I’ve already got my ticket and will be counting down the weeks until the Expo begins.
Knowing money is a little tight in many homeschool family budgets, they have a Dollar Store on the TOS Store site. There’s a great cross section of products available to help breath new life into your homeschool. Last I looked, there were a few of the neat Curiosity Files unit studies. That particular product is near and dear to my heart as I’ve contributed to all of the studies.
