While I would love to say that I have it all together at home with a hot meal waiting on the table when Mr. O gets home, I can’t. Homeschooling the boys and getting them to different activities eats up a fair amount of my day. (Then blogging takes up part of my nights!)
Probably the biggest obstacle for me getting a yummy and nutritious dinner on the table is planning ahead of time. The days when I’ve had a game plan seem to go more smoothly than those when 4 p.m. comes around and I started to figure out something for dinner.
Well, I’ve got a new site to share with you that might help with planning for the week. Many of the features are free, while others come with a subscription option.
Say Mmm takes meal planning away from scraps of paper and onto the computer in a neat and tidy format.
You can plan out what you want to make for meals by day, week or month.
Grocery lists can be compiled to help save you time at the store.
And, you can organize recipes and meal ideas can be saved for future use.
Say Mmm Plus expands on the basic by giving you the ability to track prices at your local stores, perform calorie counting, and expand upon recipe ideas. Gaining access to those features costs $3 per month.
So far, I have played around with some of the features, but not others. I usually shop for sales when at the grocery store, so the grocery list has not been tested out. However, I do like the thought of something neat and easy to read rather than my usual scribble on the back of an envelope.
This is a Mama Buzz review. I was provided with access to the premium side (Say Mmm Plus) in order to complete this review.
