The base library summer reading program has a bingo like set up for the kids to ‘earn’ a weekly prize. Along with general book reading, they have a few things for the kids to do. Visiting Potter Marsh on the south side of Anchorage is one of them.
As we were most of the way there after Little J’s last pediatrician appointment, we went in search of Potter Marsh. P was tired from Boy Scout camp and decided to just hang out in the van with Little J who was sleeping.
Everyone else had an enjoyable walk on the boardwalk with stops to observe nature. R and D enjoyed it so much they want to go back when Nana and Papa come to visit in a few weeks.
